3G data card question

Hi I was wondering if one could get a pcmcia card slot for a desktop pc so I can use my 3G data card to surf the net on my desktop not just my laptop?
I know I could hook my laptop up to my desktop and access the net like that but that's not what I'm after.

Cheers for that. I did a yahoo search for it but came up with squat. Should google next time. I wonder if there would be a driver conflict since the 3G drivers were written for a laptop.
