Hello, my stepdaughter's account on my PC cannot access any web pages through IE. However, my stepson's account (also a limited one) has no such problem. I've just hooked the PC up (it's running XP with sp1) to a Speedtouch 580 gateway (I think it's a gateway, but this wireless stuff is a all greek to me at the moment) and this is where the problem comes from.

Each time I start IE on her account I get the 403 access denied error. How the heck do I access the access control list to change this, cos it's got me stumped. Any help much appreciated in advance.

403 has to do with a "Virtual Directory" error. When you change her to a Admin and try to access from IE or Firefox, do you get the same error when going to different webpages. Usually you get the 403 error from one particular webpage, not all.

It has stopped saying 403, but now says "Forbidden - you were denied access because - access denied by access control list"
Firefox does work just fine, so it is just IE, still, it is a problem that I'd like to find out the answer to anyway, as she's only 12 and likes IE.
As I say it is only on this account, whether it be admin or limited.

Keep her in Firefox, it is much safer.
