5.1 surround sound tracks

    I have been working on tracking my own music for a very long time now and have finally stepped up to mixing in 5.1. Every one has stereo speakers so getting peoples opinions of stereo mixes is easy. I was hoping maybe some fellow MGs could help me out and give me some pointers/opinions :cool

    Hi Ace

    Managed to hook up my laptop to my Kenwood system that has a Dolby 3 Stereo / Pro Logic with 5.1 speaker setup and the "shift-amphibian" is great and the water sound in the Shift track sounds as if its all around you.

    The JS Bach track I could blast out all day, does actually sound as if your in a live concert hall.

    I am more of a John Philip Sousa man myself, I suppose it stems from my military service.
    I have a large collection of military music and my wife gets really p$$$$d when i play it loud.
    This always sends a shiver down my back and in surround sound is incredible.
