Perhaps I'm a Luddite. While I can't say all of them don't apply to me, a fair majority of them I still do (or don't) do, even though I'm online 2-4 hours a day. In fact, I typically read 7-10 books per week for pleasure. And I still play Solitaire with physical playing cards. ;)

I suspect a lot of those things that are supposedly being 'killed' by the internet more as pithy sayings and quips of subjective truths, rather than actual truisms, I do basically agree with some of them. The pragmatic truth of the points listed depends a lot on how the i-net is used by an individual, but fair enough as general witticisms. (e.g. The 'net' can be used in a lazy manner and detract from memory, or as a valuable reference source and enhance it).

This is most interesting aspect regarding internet if you ask me I feel like I'm at one of the main junctions in human history, will the world governments work together and clamp down to control the internet or will freedom of communication win out? Is there a happy mid ground?

    Fascinating.:)

I think that it is too late to stop this because the internet is now bigger than the companies who in the beginning used it too their advantage without thinking of the consequences, they opened the door and now can not close it.

Not me! I've got more and better friends from more various places than ever before. Many of whom I've met in real life. :-D

I didn't see "My productivity and will to work ever again." listed anywhere on that list.

Nor did I see "The Recording industry" contrary to what the RIAA would have you believe. :-D
