Here's a few questions jubled together...

I recently updated AIM (mistake, I liked it the way I had it)
I think I've managed to remove the ads, is there anyway to remove the "AIM Morning" "AIM Afternoon" and "AIM Evening" pop-ups? I can't find an option in the preferences (the only one is AIM.com, which is different).

Also, I use to have DeadAIM, this allowed cloning, transparency, and logging. I didn't realize when I updated that the DeadAIM would not work with the new AIM. Does anyone know of any programs such as DeadAIM that will allow these features?

Last question. I have a Zone Alarm Firewall. This kicks me offline every 30 - 60 mintues. With my old AIM it would kick me off and put me back on within 30 seconds, now it is over 2 minutes, and doesn't put an away message back up. Can I possibly take AIM off of the firewall? Some way to have that not affect it?

If you want, you can uninstall your current aim and download an older version from www.oldversion.com

 

I have everything I want on this new version though, so I wanted to avoid reinstalling another old version. My major problem is with the firewall. It doesn't put my away message back on after the 2 minutes it takes to sign me on again. Then I get that annoying AIM Morning... popup all over again. If I could avoid it being affected by the firewall, most of the problems would be fixed. Do you have any ideas?

 

If you uninstall it and then reinstall and older version, nothing will be lost. and if you want, if you can always save your buddy list to make sure.
