6.23 Folding update

Just a heads up 6.23 folds a little faster and Fred forgot to nudge us one.

Sorry Cat. I only use the CPU folding on my laptop, don't stay current on the CPU stuff anymore. Later on this weekend, I plan on downloading that onto one of the dual core CPU's on the laptop to see how it competes with the older version.

Seems to be faster on the laptop, waiting on the desktop to finish a WU before I update. But know I can count on you to know if faster.

 

BTW, the *nix 6.23 SMP client expires on the second of Feb, grab the 6.24 here. Also, if you're running *nix SMP, grab the new ver. of the a2 client by stopping it and deleting the current one, after a restart the new a2 core will be loaded. There were issues sending completed WU's with the old core nad the new one fixes that.
