64 bit machine?

Hello I am wanting to know I f I can run 64 bit xp on my machine

My friend who is a IT technician reckons my machine is 64 bit

how can I check this up

Not sure what you mean by that question.

You cpu, is newer than mine.

I'm running on an old athlon xp 3200+ (running vista, btw).

 

how is the beta 2?

Sun OS? Yes, I've worked with solaris, and hpux way back.

I use vista public beta 2 as my main machine at home. I have no real issues with it.

What is ironic, is that I run Firefox 3.0 alpha (minefield), and Thunderbird 3.0 (alpha) on a beta OS. No issues.

 

is sun os for people wanting to host there own servers

I was thinking I could better use Sun OS for a web development environment using loopback and all that , with the new sun solaris enterprise 10 edition avilable free on, www.sun.com

 

I'm not all that familiar with it (Sun OS), last time I used it was back in 1999.

I'm sure there are others here more familiar with what you want to use it for than I am.
