I need set up a wireless network with a 64 bit vista laptop. Do I need to get a router that has 64 bit compatible install software? Or is it just as easy to set up with out the install disk? If so how do I do that?

With XP 64Bit I don't need any special Modem/Router type and I think the will cater for all OS versions otherwise they would "specify" OS versions in their sales pitches.

Any router should work as long as you have a wireless card that works in your laptop.

If the router setup software doesn't work on 64 bit most of the time it's not necessary. You just plug in the router and set it up via the router control panel. It's a little bit more complex this way but nothing to complex.
