Okay, how about any year, 1966-1974, Dodge Charger? I'd settle for any of those years!! Back in the day, Mo-Par pretty much 'ruled the road' with their Chargers, Challengers, Barracudas and, of course, their Road Runners. http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/dodge-charger/dodge-charger-history.shtml Well, that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it:-D

 

1975 Rover V8 pb6.
It had a 3.5 litre engine that was really a small 8 from a Buick and could be tuned beyond belief,it was very easy to bring it 500+bhp (the Police spec)

Heck, I like a lot of makes & models from 1965-73.

But, speaking of mustangs- I know a guy, whom owned a '69 Boss 429 for 20+ years...that old bull about the large diameter head ports not being able to "breath" is a bunch of hooey...being extremely rural- he used to put slicks on and run a measured out quarter mile near his house on a public road. Often, he run his brother, whom put a really worked over 429 SCJ into his '70 Mustang & would beat him by approx. a car length...and his Boss 429 only had minimal work done on it (headers & different carb etc.) I think, he said he ran high 10's/low 11's in the 1/4 @ Cicero. Anyway, he was banging the gears one day & didn't realize his RPM Limiter wasn't working & blew the engine...which, happened about 9-10 years ago & GET THIS: he sold the car back to the original owner for just $5000.....(I bet he's been kicking his own rear ever since, after realizing what a rare car like that may bring, nowadays)

Fred_G, is that your Mustang?? She's a beauty!! Now, as for that Charger SE you have N5638J, like Fred_G said, PICTURES!! Sure, I could use another 'project' car since that Mercedes I bought is finished. Actually, all I did to that was re-build the tranny....some project, huh? (No, I didn't do it myself!!) So, if you want to post some pics and a little background on the Charger, please do.

And heres some close up's its not the best shape all i did to it from the time that i got it was cleaned it up so i could see what was all there and what was messing and i still don't know how in the world the floorpans are in one peice. But the only body damage is shown in the photos. If i had the money i would keep it and save it for a later date but at this point in time its in the way.
