6730s Bios Password

Hi all
I have a HP 6730s which i have been given from work as they doing a pc refresh.

Anyway the owner who had it has stuck on a bios password..

Can get into windows etc fine but want to boot from other deivce so can install win 7

I have done the remove battery trick didnt work

Also the unlock 6 program does not work as the bios does not give u a password to stick back in.

Any ideas please

 

Try the following site. See if any of the scripts work for you. I would try the HP script and also the Insyde H20 depending on what code is generated when you give an invalid password.

Your model may be breakable with this script.

I am going to be really helpful and say go back to the person you got it from and ask them what it was???
