6800's are busted @ hardware level?

Seems like a total bummer; just ordered a BFG 6800GT OC; should i get a x800 instead for about the same price or should I wait for a Hopefull driver update to resolve my issues?

I havnt had the time to go through all the links but if this is true im not that worried. My card has been awesome right now. If the gpu has not been enabled yet, i cant wait to see what it does when they finilly work this out. Overall im not to worried. I am going to do some more reading and contact nVidia, and LedTeak about this too. Thanks for the heads up.
