7c-8c difference in cores

    Any one else experiencing such concerns even at idle with an E8400?

    I tried contacting Intel but the rep said:
    (a) they have no such issue

    or

    (b) "that's normal" (the issue they don't have?)

    Thanks ASUS, I was concerned that under load one may overheat beyond recovery.

    After running prime95, both cores were running closer to an even 43c-42c under load, so it seems while at idle one core is carrying the load(?) but at 100% on both, they share the load:confused.
    The numbers at idle are 37c-29c.
