7zip On Win98: Problems

Hi! I have a Win98SE computer and used to have another. I'm using 7Zip 9.20 and had the same problems with 7Zip on both systems: 1. It will not decompress to another drive: If I attempt to do so, 7Zip extracts the files to the folder that contained the archive file. 2. Some files don't compress properly: IIRC, 7Zip locked up on these files. The latter works on .zip though. WinRAR works properly but can't read the files I compressed with 7Zip on other systems, as I think it's incompatible with the LZMA2 technique. Has other people here had the same problems?
