Does anyone know how to quickly see the short file name (preferably using explorer) within win2K. Win98 used to give the option to right click on the file, click properties and show the short name, but not in win2K.

I know that I can go .. dir /x in dos, but this is not what I'm looking for.

    Can anyone help, thanks!!!

    Welcome to Major Geeks :D,

Go to any folder and click tools then folder options then click the tab view. Under that it should say Display full path in title bar (if that's where you mean) and uncheck it....I hope it helps :).
