8800gt troubles

    Hi all I have just reformatted my hdd and everytime I install the drivers for my 8800gt the computer will not load. It gets past the boot screen and that is it. I can start in safe mode where I will go and uninstall the drivers and it all starts up normally. What could be the problem??

    try a different driver for starters and also is the power dongle hooked to the card? what size power supply you running it off of?

    I got an 850w psu i ended up going back to XP PRo instead of vista 32bit it is working fine now,.
