it happens almost 7-8am and i pass-by there today 9.30am, i really felt sorry for the victim
Died, not yet confirmed how many. But i saw one of them still lying there in the street (imagine a pig in a slauther house)

ive been passing 6 days a weeek in that way for almost 3-4 years and i have a friend living near in that place (almost 1km) but he felt the impact.
He saw so many victim minute after

Yes, it is now September 11 over here, and it was a horrible day, that day the terrorists got their way, and its a day that "will live in infamy". A moment of silence for the 3000 people who died that day, all thanks to 19 extremists who died for Allah and the big bearded idiot of osama, those people didnt deserve that, and until terrorism is over, lets fight the good fight for freedom.

Five years after the attack on the Twin Towers, Pentagon, and the foiled attempt that crashed in Pennsylvania, our focus is primarily on the 9/11 attacks, but it's certainly not just a U.S. tragedy. Sorry about your losses too Infoseeker.

Here's a list of Islamic attacks just from 9/11 through the end of 2003. They're spread pretty widely.

The memories are so fresh in my mind, it hardly seems like five years. Add to the list of direct Islamic extremist deaths, injuries and property loss (including the Bali bombing), all the wars and conflicts related to that as well, and the cost is indeed high. And, unfortunately, it's far from over. :(

my daughter died on sept 10 a few years before the attack. all the memorials, all the sad songs on the radio, all the speeches about courage and tenacity, all the one minute silences...just serve to remind me of that very special child. when the terrorists hit, someone said to me that it must make me one of the few people that truly understand the grief of the relatives. im sorry to say that the opposite is true. those left behind on sept 11 are amongst the few who truly understand mine. instead of plowing money and resources into the war machine, it is my opinion that we should be putting that money to use in education, health care, and housing for the millions of disadvantaged americans. we live in a society that simply doesn't see the suffering around us. we pass by the homeless and convince ourselves that they somehow brought the situation on themselves. the rich put their kids on Ritalin to help with exams, while the poor and uninsured cant buy penicillin. we watch programs on the telly depicting children starving while we eat our dinners, we close our hearts and minds to the suffering of others whilst we pursue goals not of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but profit and power and selfishness. a far greater tragedy, in my humble opinion, is the aftermath of new Orleans. there will of course be no memorials for the thousands who died there as a direct result of our own politics and the divided culture they enforce. my aloha and sympathy to all those who have lost loved ones, whatever the circumstances were.

I read this today http://willcocks.blogspot.com/ in the local paper.

"The U.S. State Department reports there were 11,111 terror attacks in 2005, up from 3,192 the year before. The increase may be misleading, it warns, because it's tough to count accurately. But the trend since 2001 hqas been steadily upward. The greater our efforts to increase safety, the more terror attacks."
