97' Nissan Pickup 4wheel drive

Hey guys. Back in 01' I bought this vehicle, it had around 90K on it at the time. I have never done anything 2 it, just routine stuff, starter, alternator, brakes, oil etc, etc. Well, it now has 249K on it, and it just took a dump on my way 2 work a few weeks ago. :cry I could prob get by with just a head job, maybe even a new head, but I really wanna rebuild it. Just wondering if anyone knows of a place 2 get a master rebuild kit? I have found a few places on the internet, but not sure about which motor I have, It could be a KA24, KA24e, or a KA2de. I am sure there is a stamp on the motor somewhere, but I wanna know before I take it out, causethe price difference could range up to 800 bucks. One problem is the Make of the vehicle. Now to me it is just a nissan hardbody, 4wheeldrive. But on the title, it says, Nissan pickup Frontier. ?.?.? I can post some pics for u all. Any help of good advice on a rebuild kit would be great.

 

If it has a timing chain DO NOT get a cheap off Brand, get a Nissan one. trust me... :-D Had my timing chain changed on my '92 a couple of years ago, and a month or so ago, it streatched, and bent some valve stems.

Waiting on my friend to finish it. Got a nice shiny head on , just needs a little more work. :cool
