The 9800 pro would be much better.

    Why just these two?

I would prefer an nVidia 6600 GT, or even a 6800 if they are in your price range.

The AIW is the All in Wonder. Do you need all the extra functions?
If so, then the Radeon is the best bet for you because nobody
else really makes anything that can hang with that card.

What are the added functions the all in wonder come with as apposed to the other one?

The All In Wonder series of Ati cards are very much whole
packages. You get video editing software, connectors for just
about anything you could need to plug into it. You can record
audio and video at top notch sampling rates. It even
comes with a full function remote control unit.
Using the AIW, you have basically an XP entertainment center.

The 9550 is a budget chip.

It's OK for general use, but if you enjoy 3D games, then go for the 9800 Pro as it's a more powerful chip.

I picked up the aiw 9800pro from future shop for $199.00 cdn. I know it is not the top of the line card and is a fews year old but I love it so far. The tv picture is great far better than the tuner card made by leadtek I have in another rig. I play batt 2 with no probs set to med. It has pvr functions plus many other features, I am very happy with it for what I paid for it.

I'm surprised that a 6600 GT is a lot more than a 9800 Pro in Canada as claimed?
