_SMA folder suddenly appeared

    In "My Computer" (Windows XP) a folder has just appeared today called _SMA. What is it and should it be deleted? I have no idea how it arrived.

    If you are using Lenovo's System Migration Assistant, it uses _SMA folder as a temporary work folder.
    That is the only time I've seen it.
    Lenovo's System Migration Assistant is an IT tool usually used on company networks when their employees get new computers.
