a bit of a silly question...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, and if it's not I'm very sorry. I don't know anything about computers or message boards so please bear with me. I just need to ask people who know lots about computers and I don't know any so I'm trying this. Okay, here goes: on my boyfriends computer in the history of sites he's gone to it has said that he's gone to certain websites which he denies going to. he said that his computer has some sort of virus that puts those sites on his history. he knows other people that this has happened to also so I believe that but i just found some pictures saved on his computer. they're titled things like ytro1.jpg and when i hover over them it says date modefied:10/21/2004. and i'm wondering if this is any way this a virus or if he has to have saved them himself. I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask... I just didn't know what else to do.

 

Ummm, well, let's face it. You already know the answer to the question, but your asking and hoping that someone will say that yes, it is a virus, and prove you wrong.

However, your intuition is correct.
