I read here http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/04/att-broadband-caps/ that there will soon be limits as to how much broadband usage you can use per house hold. My issues...........

5 people in the house with computers all watching internet tv only, I trade the markets with programs that are streaming over the net all day long...........

Are there any programs that monitor this, and that we can potentially limit each computer user to a set amount? If I call my internet provider will they be able to tell me how much I use on average as of right now? Any work around?

    I currently use cable internet.

Thanks for the help, my phone company estimates my usage at 72.5G per month, but they don't yet have a system for telling me exactly how much I use per month on a monthly basis, but supposedly they are working on it. The guy on the phone seemed to think that only gross violation would receive fines because he has seen everyone with only a small overage receive no fine. Our max is 100G. Apparently a max has always been in place, but only recently they have decided to crack down on it. Doesn't look like I will have to worry.
