A Couple of IExplorer Questions . . .

I know this has probably been beaten to death, but . . .

(1) Can IExplorer be totally uninstalled, including a good registry key search and destroy? I am aware of (but haven't tried) things such as IEradicator2, etc. What are some other good software titles for this task?

(2) What are some good stand-alone browser replacements for IExplorer? Everyone has their own favorite, and I want to know the good with the bad.

In regards to number 1, what OS are you using?

Well there is Mozilla (browser w/ email client) and Firefox (lighter version of Mozilla), boths browsers a highly customizable by use of extensions (both free and open source). And of course there Opera, which is free, but you have to put up with a ad banner until you pay. Opera is very cusomizable as well..... I think all 3 are great and I use both Mozilla and Opera. It's really up to the user to decide which is best. I suggest you try all three, if you are trying to stay away from IE and its shell (avant browser and MyIE2).

PS Don't ask which browser is better (Mozilla or Opera) at the support forums listed above, it usually ends up in a flame war or some type of bashing.
