a faster way plzzzzzzzz

hi all im looking for a program that will convert avi to vob/dvd compliant in under an hr or close to it i can use nero and understand it enough but it takes like 3/4 hrs to got from avi transcode to burn on a disk ....is thier another faster way ......??????????????????//

Im pretty sure it depends on your computers speed... As for programs, Neros the only one i know of.

Ok So I Am New To The Whole Making Dvd's Issue.... But I Can Most Of The Times Work Around My Problems....SO Hear In Better IS Detail What Im Trying To Do


I Have A Bunch Of Avi Files.... Running Out Of Space On Hard Drive...

I Can Go Through Them All And Make Them Into Dvd's No Problem Their...but It Just Takes A Real Long Time With Nero To Transcode Them To Get The Ts_folders.... Like I Said ..3 Or 4 Hrs .....depending On The Size Of The File... Plus I Have To Make A Stupid Menu That I Dont Want Because I Just Go Through Dvd Shrink And Get Rid Of It .... Then I Put It On A Disk

My Pc Is Not Slow ...

Not The Best But Its Gets The Job Done......

So What Im Asking Is Ther A Way To Streamline The Whole Process Where As I Take The Avi File And Get The Ts_folders With Out Haveing To Make A Stupid Menu....so I Can Put It On A Disk....under 1 Hour......??????????????

Or If Some One Has A Better Way To Go About This Im All Ears....

VSO DivxToDVD and it's free. BTW in Nero there is an option to make the DVD without menus, if you wish.

 

thank you.. play... i will try that.... as for now i have forund dvd santa..i am running it now... its seems it might take an hr and a half....i will try your way after im done with this one

 

a follow up to my quest/question.... would more ram help with this situation...
or is it my processor that is holding my back.....or just a program issue

my mobo is a intel 865perl

like i said 1 gig ram i can go up to 4 (would like no wait love to hit the 4 mark)
