A Fatal Exception...

Hello,

When I shut down my pc using the start menu I get a this message:

"A Fatal exception 0E has occured at 0177:7800F91D. The current application will be terminated"

Then it displays this number: 0177:BFF9DBA7 or 0177:BFF996EF (I think there has been other various numbers as well)

Sometimes my pc does shut down properly but on most occassions I get that message. If I press any key or Ctlt+Alt+Del the screen goes black with a bunch of grey dots. I then have to do a hard shut down, nothing else will restart my pc.

Any suggestions?

As well since I have had this problem I can no longer access the web using Mozilla Firefox? I tried uninstalling ad rei-installing but it did not work?
