A few annoyances I want to be rid of

Well let me start out with the Windows Installer, every time I log on it asks me for a CD for Microsoft Word which I don't have. Also there have been instances in the past where multiple Windows Installers windows have popped up, although no where as freakwently now.

I am also having this problem with Norton AntiViris as it seems to say some components are missing and thus i get this annoying pop up, especially if I open up a word document.

Also every time I log in the Automatic updates keep popping up. The thing is, even if I do the updates, the next time I turn off the computer or restart the updates are back, which leads me to believe there is a problem there.

Lastly, I notice that when i scan for a virus or something, sometimes I see the screen blink for a half second. I don't know if this is nothing or not, but would like an experts opinion.

I don't see a repair option in add/remove programs, infact i don't even see
Norton Antivirus (most likely because it is part of Norton internet Security).
