=A Few Questions=

Well, I just bought a new system a few months ago. I ordered a bad PSU when doing this build. I was caught up in the wattages and not in the amps. I bought a lame 600w Coolermaster Extreme that can only get me to 2.5Ghz stable. So I ordered a new PSU two days ago, this one in fact ..

I've read up on it, I have seen it is a tier one PSU, but I haven't seen or heard many ppl talking about overclocking with it much. I question this because it only has a single 12v rail albeit a powerful rail though (60a).

My question is, will this be enough for me to reach a good CPU speed with my setup, such as 3.5Ghz-4.0Ghz stable?

Other question is, will air cooling be enough at these cpu speeds? I am not using stock fan, instead I have the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro 92mm. I'd like to avoid Liquid Cooling if possible.

Last question, Would a PSU with 4 rails rated at 20 amps per 12v rail be better?

CPU: Q6600 g0 (@2.5Ghz)
CPU Cooler: Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
RAM: Muskin Extreme w/Heat Spreaders
Case: Raidmax Smilodon
Fans: 1x 120mm 3x Intake fans 1xHighPerformance Exhaust fan
Gfx card: 8800GTS 640MB


I understand that all CPUs and Mobos react differently to different configs and such, but is it atleast possible to do what I am trying to do with my new PSU and my Cpu cooler???

Unfortunately there is no way to tell if it was a poor overclocking CPU or if it was a weak PSU holding it back with out having a stronger PSU to test it with.

All i can say is keep an eye on your temps. General rule of thumb is never go over 60C/140F.
