a good OC'ing MB?

I'm going to try my hand at overclocking and need to know which MB would be a good one for a amd fx60 939 cpu. i had a dfi 3200cfx but it gave up the ghost awhile back so i have a cpu,4 gigs of ddr400 ram 2 ati 1950's graphics cards just waiting for a motherboard. i thought that since these components were just laying around i could try my hand at OCing without worrying too much about messing anything up.lol if anyone has a suggestion please let me know. forgot to add that i have a watercooling setup for these components too.

That's an old chip man and last too. I doubt anyone sells these 939 mobos anymore. I had an ASUS A8N-E that I liked but that's the only 939 mobo I ever had. Take your chances on E-bay or equivalent. The FX series were good in their days, AMD is even reviving that designation.

Sorry I can't say anymore as I've since gone to the darkside though I'm waiting to see what the new 8-core Bulldozer/FX does!:-D

 

thanks for the info, i looked on ebay but some of their prices are high. Ive saved a search on ebay so hopefully something will pop up. i just hate not to use the components that i have already, i just figured using them and something major does happen i wont be out much :-D thanks again.

 

I can't blame you for thinking that way. I never throw away working hardware as it's donated when I'm done with it.

 

These boards were awsome. Never OCed on it but it was rock solid!!!
