a good video editing program

    can you guys help me out with a good video editing program at the moment i just use windows movie maker
    find it works ok for what i do but would like a better choice
    i also have power producer that came bundled with my computer

    the thing i really like about windows mm is that when i connect the camera it is all very automatic and it actually save the video the way you taped it in 30second to half hour lots and tells you in the detail when you actually recorded it which make srediting real easy
