...a Late "throne" Geek...

Couple of weekends ago (or was it three) there was a marathon televising of "Game of Thrones" starting from Season 1 Episode 1.

Had heard about it over the years, but never seen any Seasons or Episodes. So even though I missed some episodes here and there of the series being televised lately, I got the gist of who's who and doing/done what to whom - so pretty much came up to speed.

Guess that now makes me a "Game of Thrones geek"...? ​

Yeah, I was years late - hence the TV binge of GOT...which was back to back telecasting of all episodes...admittedly I ended up sleeping through many episodes or out for the day at different times - but now fully caught up too.

 

I also got to the party late on, Season 5 or maybe 6, I think but I love it.

When I first starting watching, I did binge watch as it was at times riveting. Awaiting the release of each new episode in S8.

Also now watching The Borgias with Jeremy Irons who is fantastic as the Pope. Thankfully only 3 Seasons were ever made.

If you like GoT, then I think that 'The Borgias' will be to your liking also.

 

SHEWHOMUSTBEOBEYED and I just recently binge-watched (first time) on Demand all episodes and got really impressed with the way the entire series has been done. Wifey is addicted now and hates that it is all ending.

Damn. Totally missed that. I would have enjoyed it. Dad loved all that sort of stuff (probably where I get it from) - He collected the Prince Valiant comics - beautiful black ink artwork, so the picture stories were excellent. I used to enjoy reading them. The characters were wonderful! Aleta (Prince Valiant's Queen from the Misty Isles) I reckon would have been the first feminist at time of this publication - quite a force to contend with - below excerpt is one of my favourite in the series when Aleta is kidnapped:

All the episodes are on Amazon Prime. All 7 Seasons (about 10 episodes per). You'll need lots of Popcorn tho'.....!!

It's like GoT but in Norseland.....
