A little bit about me....

Well, you all know by now I love a good joke, and play plenty of them on my kids. But it doesn't stop there. I like to play practical jokes on my husband, Randy, too

We met online through our work as moderators in a christian chat room. After just over a year, we decided to meet up. We got along so well, we thought we would at least have fun hanging out together, even if romance didn't blossom. So I came out to Oregon and met him first, and we hit it off great and that special spark was obviously there. So we agreed, before we got serious, all our 7 kids had to be in agreement; which meant he had to fly to England to meet my 2 boys. Not easy when you're phobic of flying. I spent Christmas in England with my family before Randy flew out to meet them all.

A couple of weeks before he flew out I sent him an e-mail. I don't remember the exact words but it went a little something like this.....

"Hi Randy, before you fly all the way out to England I figured there was soemthing I should tell you about my family. We've struggled with it all our lives, and at times it has been increasingly difficult to cope with. Thankfully it only seems to affect the male side of the family...some genetic disorder handed down generation through generation, but still, I thought it was only fair to let you know before you fly out here to meet them. This is a huge commitment to make, and I would hate to have you come out here and feel I had hidden the truth from you. I get really upset talking about it and trying to describe it to people, so I've attached soem photos, which I think will help you understand what my family has suffered over the years"

Then I posted the first photo...of my Dad.....

..and Randy totally fell for it...hook, line and sinker. He thought something was really truly wrong and upsetting.....until he opened the photos and realised he got punk'd ! Hehe

Hehe...I guess he does some when he squeezes his face up like that to hold all the party poppers in his various facial orifices!

Hmm…they're all born with party poppers in their orifices - looks like a serious conditions to me.

I hope they don't smoke. They might get a 'bang' out of it. Seeing streamers coming out of their heads would be different, I suppose.

Guess your Dad blew his nose too hard, or something – green stuff is coming out of his eye sockets.

When Randy finally got here I took him back to my apartment (via Stonehenge...you just gotta do it), and he crashed for a while. I'd told him many times about my friend, Emma, in the apartment below. So when he woke up, he went outside for a smoke (tut tut!). As he was stood outside, Emma came out into the backyard and was suprised to see a stranger lurking in the yard. So Randy introduced himself kinda like this......

"Hi....I'm Randy"

That didn't help matters much. She looked even more worried. You see, we don't have the name Randy in England.......over there is just means "horny".......Five minutes later Emma's cop boyfriend was outside too, and I could hear Randy trying to explain everything lol. It was so funny. I just left him to dig a deeper hole lol.
