Abri, on another unrelated question, are you going trick o treating?

 

Not this year. But I did bring over candy corn when I came back and am rationing it, one kernel at a time.
There are a few very local trick or treaters in Berlin. The costumes here are strictly traditional: bats, witches and ghosts, maybe a dracula or two. No chocolate kisses, like I saw walking down the street where I went to college, or my housemate, who went as a generic beer can. hahahaha
I planted pumpkin seeds last fall, and was surprised to find they make amazing house plants in window boxes. Who would have thought they could get 5" flower! I ran over to see it everyday. Actually, I have a nice series of photos of the flower folding up too. Amazing!
