A new Task Scheduler?

I'd like to try a different Task Scheduler. Has anyone good experience with something other than the scheduler that is part of Windows?

Does not have to be free, but a trial is welcomed.

Before posting this question, I took a look at nnCron. Oh my, what a mess. Constantly bugging you to register and way above my level of expertise. I don't mind paying, If I'm given adequate time to test and feel comfortable using it, but nnCron expired my test period the moment I opened it the first time!

FYI: I'm trying to automate tasks, e.g, NAV virus scans, NAV updates, PestPatrol scans, ScanDisk, Defrag, etc, while at the same time keeping the GUI in the background. Doing research on command lines on these and other programs that I want to automate.

What OS are you using?

I use the 'AT' command in XP/NT to schedule a batch file that kicks off defrag etc by their command lines.

Type at /? at the dos prompt for more info.

Maybe we are talking about a different scheduler. I have used Any Time Deluxe 6.0 for years but twice it has dropped all of my data. The many backups have old data so I am looking for a different scheduler (or calendar). Outlook used to conflict when I used Mozilla products. If you mean that kind of scheduler, check out Any Time Deluxe, with an understanding that I may have hit a wrong key...
