A new window always appear.

hey there.
I am using winxp home ed.
recently i encountered a problem. When i click a folder say My Videos, a new window for My Videos always pop out. This goes for all my other folders.
I checked my Folder Options and i had the box Open in The Same Window checked. Also, i went under File Types, and clicked on Advance on the file type File Folder. Open was set to default.

Any solutions to this ?

 

You mean its always opening a new window instead of reusing them ?

In WIndows Explorer

Goto Tools -> Folder Options

IN the second group box down you will see the setting you are after.

yea i already had it checked, but problem still persists.
