   sorry for being a techie noob but what is a PCI input device? and what going to happen when it's driver fails?

   An example of a PCI input device would be like a sound card, modem, or a much older vid card. If the driver 'fails' let's say for the sound card. Either just reinstall the driver or find a newer driver for that device. Hope that helps!!
