A question about 2 programs

Hi,
I was going through my old cds and found 2 that I'd like to sell. I haven't used them for years because I have upgraded to a newer system.
Window 98 upgrade disk, and
Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition

I'd like to sell them on instead of throwing them out. So my question is: Can someone install them on their computer after all this time(that is assuming they have older software)? They haven't been used for at least 2 years to my knowledge. I see people selling them on ebay. If you could give me any info that would be helpful I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Yes they could install them on their computer however legally they may in violation of MS software agreement. If you decide to sell them follow the guidelines set up in their customer service software policy..

If you are the person who initially licensed the Software, you may make a one-time permanent transfer of this EULA, Software and Certificate of Authenticity (if applicable) to another end user, provided that you do not retain any copies of the Software. This transfer must include all of the Software (including all component parts, the media and printed materials,any upgrades, this EULA, and, if applicable, the Certificate of Authenticity). The transfer may not be an indirect transfer, such as a consignment. Prior to the transfer, the end user receiving the Software must agree to all the EULA terms.
