a question about of the sc3k-u scenario citys

The city in question is the scenario town called "a better betterfield". I have saved the town so I can play it when I want to. I had the town all built up with nuke power plants. I was messing around with the ufo swarm and one of the ufo beams hit the power plants. Now there is nuke symbles all over all over the place. I hit the save button by mastake insted of load. My question is. Is there a way to get ride of the nuke symbles without re-starting the town over agen from scrach?
