I have been given some new S.A.S SCSI drives, the connection cable is the same as Sata, but they cannot be used in Sata connectors on the motherboard,
how do you connect them, can I get a PCI card or something like that to do the job.

    Hey Diger.
Yea I know all about search engines, but this is a forum to witch I came to ask my fellow posters a question, but if all the advice you can give is to use Bing or Google (Do you get a commission when posters click on your links) then I might as well go somewhere else.

I apologize for upsetting you, but understand you could have easily found your answers in seconds yesterday for yourself - if you had just taken the few seconds (less than it took to post your question) to look for yourself instead of expecting others to do it for you. Especially since you know all about search engines.

Now you have wasted a day of your time. No skin off my back but through those links you see there are all sorts of solutions and options for you. Unfortunately, since you also failed to provide any information about your system, we have no clue what would be best for you.

I suggest you review those search results and if you have a specific question about those options, post that. But also understand we are not mind readers. You didn't state your operating system or post any information about your computer that would tell us what it might support. Since you said "pci or something like that" we would need to know your PC or motherboard model - instead of expecting us know what you have. Then we can help you decide (not decide for you) if PCI, PCIe or SATA to SAS would be better for you.

An no, I don't get commissions. We are all volunteers here, donating our spare time "helping others help themselves". And we prefer our time be used efficiently and not wasted.
