Helo again, I have a single question to ask, what is SATA Raid?

A SATA RAID is using 2 or more hard drives to make an array. Simply put, a RAID 0, or stripped array, needs 2 or more drives, and part of the info is stored on one drive half on the other. Which is faster, but if one drive fails, you loose everything.

You can also use multiple drives for Mirror Array. This writes everything to 2 or more drives, so if one fails, you can still use the computer.

There is also Stripped with Parity, were you use 3 or more (I think) drives, and if one fails, you can replace it with a new drive, and rebuild the contents of the array. There are several kinds of SATA RAID setups.

If I am confusing, here is a link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID
