Is a-Squared as effective as it appears or are the detections false positives?

Avast doesn't pick them up and Malwarebytes, SAS, and SpySweeper don't detect them either. I also have Comodo Firewall.

    Any opinions?

    Hi

Yes its not a bad app, but like all apps in ths security area it can suffer from false positives, do you ave just one sample of what it finds as malware, should be in the form of a suspected file name, the malware name and location, just woukd like to look it up.

Some apps do have a tendancy to rate tracking cookies as malware when they are not, so its not listing cookies is it? (adaware is a pain for this)

    Halo,

I removed the files that a-squared detected as a Trojan, but as soon as it picks up another one I will attach it here.

If I remember correctly it picked up a file in a temporary folder.

    Thanks for your input.

    Melissa
