A Wish

This goes out to everyone.

I wish that everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

2016 has been a year that we have lost loved ones, lost actors and actresses, that we have had trials and tribulations in our own lives, and have over come so many obstacles that have strengthen our faith in God, ourselves, friends and family, and have seen so many things change.

My wish and prayer is that 2017 is prosperous and filled with love, caring, forgiveness, joy, peace and reflection on our lives. We can look back at our mistakes and learn from them so we will not make those same mistakes again.

May everyone have a very Blessed day. And thank you all for allowing me to become part of your world.

Here in Arkansas, today is wet, and looks like tomorrow will be as well.

I hope that everyone has their wishes to come true.

Happy Boxing Day.......... Christmas Day ended two and a quarter hours ago here and I have just finished cleaning up
We had a great family day at my place with all the relatives present where we had fun and frivolity as well as stuffed ourselves with roast turkey, roast vegies, smoked ham then genuine home made plum pudding with brandy sauce made to my great grandmother's recipe by my mum. We also had all sorts of party faire nibblies and finished up on cheesecake with coffees and in case we hadn't overeaten already a big box of Lindt macharons at 10pm
I started cooking the huge turkey buffe at 7am but got up at 5am to prepare the stuffing and help peel all the the vegies. The visitors started rolling up at 11am and we drank and ate nibblies until 2pm and then we ate until the last people left at 11pm. We had the hottest Christmas Day for 26 years and it was a scorcher but luckily I have a couple of big air con units which kept the house nice and cool.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and it was everything you wanted it to be. My son's girlfriend is Jewish and comes from Brazil and this was the first time she has been to a big Aussie family Christmas party. She was stunned by the amount of food and the fun we all shared and saw for the first time how our families interact and although she is a long way from her home in Brazil, she still really enjoyed the day although she did miss being with her parents and sister.
Anyway if you don't celebrate Christmas then I hope you had an enjoyable day
