This Resident Evil Village copy is Silent Hills!?

It seems as if YouTubers have been doing their homework.

There seems to be some debate over this being Silent Hill/Silent Hills.
I hope there’s another SH but as this is owned by Konami I doubt this can be called Silent Hill. Fingers crossed that I am wrong.

It’s certainly a good way to gain publicity. Gamers are sifting through the clues for any confirmation the game is Silent Hill.

Why throw a hissy fit, though?

 

The clues are getting weirder by the day.
The translated discussion sounds like it could’ve been heard on the radio in PT or written on the wall - Are you you or am I you type of thing.

 

I am not really a fan of first person games, but I am warming up to them a bit. Still, I do prefer third person.

It's not too bad if you see the characters you are playing as. But in the case of the newer Resident Evil games, you don't see what Ethan looks like facially. Even in the remake of Resident Evil 3, they had it where you could have Jill exploring her apartment, in first person. That felt out of place, as the original game from 1999 had no first person perspective whatsoever. But at least you still see her, otherwise. Capcom wanting to keep Ethan all mysterious was a bit silly, considering he was just supposed to be an everyman like Harry Mason.

So, August is when the trailer drops. I reckon something has to be going on, if they delayed it because people suspected there was more to this than meets the eye.
