Hi Abby Sue,
I apologise if I did something wrong.What's wrong with copying films to dvd from warez?I know I'm new to this so I need all the help I can get.
I just wanted to be able to view them on my tv.If you could explain I'll be grateful.Thanks.John

To put it bluntly, its theft. By not allowing it here, in essence, MG is protecting you. If MG ran into trouble with the law because of something you did here, they would have to give you up.

Trust me on this. Its much cheaper to buy a movie, than to be punsihed by the law and have your entire life destroyed.

 

....like downloading music and putting it to a cd to get a copy of an album in otherwords.

I say it by putting yourself in the producers position - you'd be annoyed if someone downloaded a movie/music from you, theft from your work.

 

What you are trying to do is against the law. Major Geeks could be legally held responsible for assisting with breaking the law...downloading warez is stealing from the original copywrite holder, etc. That's the bottom line...we will not compromise this forum or our high standards.
