Is there a way to scan multiple pages via the feeder on my printer with this program?

 

Could you please list make, model, OS (including Service Pack) of your computer along with the make and model of the printer you're using?

Also, this is from Abby:

"To be able to scan/open multiple pages, your scanner driver must support this feature. Most of the scanner drivers support multiple page scanning/opening, but some may not support this feature."

For some reason my computer loses the printers so a tech support guy reconfigured the system so now the HP program wont work. Am trying to find a scan program that will do the job

 

I found directions for scanning multiple pages into one file on HP's without ADFs and WITH ADFs here.

I have also read in another forum thread that some have used Vuescan for the process.

But, it all has to do with your HP Director software.

Oh, and like plodr says, Windows 7 only has Service Pack 1.

 

I noticed you said a tech support guy reconfigured your computer. HP Printers come with I.R.I.S. OCR. Was it re-installed? That software is on the install disk as a separate install or can be obtained from HP (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&softwareitem=oj-72836-2). I sometimes use AABBYY with my HP printer and it does work fine for multiple pages. Specs say your 5610 supports multiple page scanning.

 

Sorry. I meant service pack 1. Can you walk me through how I scan multiple pages?
PS. I did try and reinstall the HP program. It worked for awhile but for some reason it dissapeared.
