abit fatal1ty failure to boot

my pc hardware

amd x2 4200+

corsair 2x512mb
GFX geforcse 7300 256MB
abit fatl1ty an9 32x

when i power my pc it starts to boot up then fails after about 2 seconds

on the post on the motherboard it gives a 00 before powering up
and when it fails to power up it gives a 99 also when it fails to boot up
all the cooling fans stop

the power supply is a 500watt sansun psu

 

i have tryed booting up ouside the case with nothing extra attaced i.e HDD etc

i have also cleared the BIOS and tryed to boot but still having the same problem

could it be my PSU?

 

Is there any weird beeping at all cause I gots that board . The Board should tell you but, ... if the damn thing is cutting off it might be bad Ram or Bad PSU.. Tell me what PSU you have. Also man You gotta read up on your hardware before you buy it cause I read up that them ABIT Fatalitys were Faulty so I had to wait for a Brand new shipment b 4 I got mine cause I did not want a used one ..well one that was taken back but yeah man it could be the board cause people were telling me its like a 1 out of 10 boards that will have a prob. Oh yeah man I have not used my board yet cause I am havin financial probs at the moment and need more money for the rest of the parts but yeah let me know.

 

i have used a diffent power supply unit and it still had the same problem
so i tryed the power supply unit in this machine and it works fine

i belive that the motherboard is to be fauilty

so i have ased ebuyer for a RMA number
