Abit VA-20. which Graphics card update

Hi i have never used this before but i need help. :confused
I am running a Abit VA-20 Motherboard with the following Graphics card: Nvida GeForce4 MX440 with AGP8X.

I want to upgrade my graphics card but havent got a clue where to begin, there are so many to choose from and i dont know which would work on my system. can anyone help me please :confused

 

Welcome to the forumIts depends which CPU you have but be aware even a top of the range AGP card like the 7800gs will struggle to play the latest games,any AGP card will work.

 

i think my cpu is a AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1900+

 

An nvidia 6200 would be a nice card for that I doubt you could put a 6600GT in it you would be very cpu limited and also it has too heavy power requirements if you have stock power supply unit,you may struggle to find them in shops so I'd recommend EBAY for a cheap one.
