about:blank IE 6.0 128 bit problem

    Hello,

    The past few weeks I noticed that I often get an Internet Explorer Message Box/Error Problem while surfing the net. Inside my taskbar, I notice the "about:blank." I'm sure this is some type of malware/spyware issue and so far I've been lucky by not having any of these issues. Please advise what steps I need to take to fix this problem. I have been surfing the net and have read many different ways but would like your input.
