    Hope it also improves the effectiveness on initial cleanups too. Well have to wait for the next flood of HSA problems to give it a try. But wait I may have one thread still lingering. I have to go check.

    that's just freaking insane.. not like it's difficult to do at all but now it makes more sense to me that a while back someone was looking for a program that created an MD5 hash database of all his files on his harddrive.

    Not that it's worth much as you have to know which files you're looking for, but ADS is an NTFS feature (for those who don't know) so you can copy your suspect files to a FAT filesystem and it will destroy the ADS.

    The only real way to know is to audit your files' integrity.. what a PITA.

    Correct, they have no limitations and no fear as to how they will screw people. Its frankly just amazing to me no matter how long and how many times I see it.
