   Not sure if this is the right spot for this post or not. Anyway, I am looking for any info on how to prevent this adware from invading my new PC. Using Google, I found lots of ways to nuke it once the PC is infected, but nothing on preventing it. The public PC I currently use has it...it occurs as a popunder on nearly every Major Geeks software page I look at, and on many other sites. Anyone know how to prevent it?

   It is not an infection. And it is not on your PC. It is a source of revenue for many websites to allow them to offer free forums like this. There are many of these types of popup keyword advertising programs. AdChoices and IntelliText to name a couple of others.
