About windows XP

    I have a copy of windows XP pro that is unregistered. To register it I was thinking of buying this

    an upgrade to windows XP pro. My question is that can
    I simply buy this upgrade and use the code, or do I need to buy the FULL version of windows XP?

    At first I was thinking of just paying for the validation, but this pack I found comes with a free upgrade to windows vista, which although I wont use now, will probably be a necessity in the near future.
