access control panel

having difficulties accessing my control panel. i am working on a friends cpu and have started the malaware removal. the only thing i can access on the computer is the task manager. Finally got on internet and have ran cc cleaner. now wondering how i can go to add/remove programs through task manager if there is a command i can "run". any help would be good otherwise might skip that step and go on

 

Well, I reccomend you take a stroll through the stickies in the malware forum.

In the meantime, appwiz.cpl from the run box will open add/remove programs.
